HELP PLEASEE…how would Thomas Jefferson respond to these??

1. Jefferson would agree, believing the purpose of government be to secure the liberties of people and also that the people and states should have equal power with, if not more power than, the Federal government.

3. This is really a very complicated question that only seems simple. What you’re even really asking is open to interpretation, and then beyond that the economic analysis is open to interpretation. Hm. Take a separate stance from all the other sheep in your class and say that it’s the businessmen because they have the extra money to stimulate the economy.
4. I am opposed to the National Bank…well, no. I am opposed to the Fed (Federal Reserve). It is unconstitutional. If you really want to introduce something snazzy to your paper, argue that one of the problems with today’s government is that the Legislative and Executive Branches are superseding the Constitution and justifying it with mutual support and endorsement. An example of this would be NATO, which removes authority from the President as Commander-in-Chief. They argue that if they Congress allows for it and the President does as well, then both parties involved agree and it’s said and done. Some would say, however, that the Constitution is the supreme law of the land (it is and should be) and that the individuals of an office can’t elevate anything above it, as the individuals in office are constantly changing but the CONSTITUTION remains the same. Trust me, your teacher will be impressed.
5. This is a really tough one as well. You could argue that there should be none, or that there should be all of them, and there are merits to both of those arguments and others as well. To keep it simple, I’ll just answer your question and say England. I say England because I see the alliance as solid, beneficial to both nations, and without any downsides.
