What genetic testing for you?
What is your opinion ….. genetic testing should be a valuable tool to decide whether or not to terminate a pregnancy. are for or against this statement? let me know thank all
I personally chose against it. My ex is epilepsy with no known cause .. Therefore, may be hereditary. When she became pregnant, a doctor suggested to me that a genetic test to see if my daughter would that .. but when I talked to advisers, said it would only be able to tell me a chance that she may have seizures, but other factors strangers who could help .. I was asked if he would end his life if I knew there was a high probability of seizures, and I said no way. I decided not to have genetic testing, because many factors can alter the outcome of your future doctor, not me otherwise .. your life is my blessing. In the other side of things, my brother had genetic testing done when they were waiting for my niece .. Turns out they have a 1 in 4 chance of having a child with cystic Cystic .. had my niece, and then chose my nephew .. decided to stop having children because they had 2 healthy children and the new probability of having a child with CF was reaching them. It's a personal choice .. but I think it would be better to undergo genetic testing before pregnancy .. I believe that every life is worth the penalty to the person who is alive .. I have worked with many people with disabilities, and I never heard one say they wish their parents had aborted instead.
